The Lord Lyon is engaged on a highly-acclaimed Lecture Tour of Australia at the moment. You can read all about it on the Lyon Office Blog.
Lyon was entertained by the Governor of South Australia His Excellency The Hon Hieu Van Le and Mrs Le at Governor's House, Adelaide, along with others of Scottish heritage and several members of the HSS, such as Lyon's host in Adelaide, Dr Richard Num.
The picture shows the hatchments which were hung on the gates of the Governor's House to mark the deaths of Edward VII and Queen Victoria.
At his Brisbane lectures, Lyon met many other members of the HSS, including Michael Bryce AM AE, husband of the former Governor-General, Dame Quentin Bryce.
Dr Morrow is rotating three different lectures - one on Church Heraldry, one on the Heraldry of Members of the Orders of St John and one on Masonic Heraldry.
