News has come in that our Patron, Orkney Herald Sir Malcolm Innes of Edingight KCVO WS, has died. Sir Malcolm was Lord Lyon King of Arms from 1981-2001. He was one of the longest-serving Officers of Arms ever, having been a page in 1948 when he was ten years old and then Falkland in 1957. We send our sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
