Today's Events
The Society was treated to a most interesting and amusing lecture by our distinguished Vice-President, Elizabeth Roads, on "Logos, Trademarks and Coats of Arms - are they incompatible?". The lecture was delivered with Elizabeth's characteristic humour and lightness of touch and it was fascinating to see some of the many corporate arms which she had had a hand in creating as Lyon Clerk.
The afternoon continued with a Double Book-launch and celebration of the success of our two most recent heraldic authors, Alex Maxwell Findlater and Dr David Bertie. Most of the copies of their magisterial volumes have already been sold but copies are still available to purchase here.
