Falkland and Unicorn at the Glasgow Highland Club

Falkland and Unicorn led a workshop last night at Glasgow Art Club for the Glasgow Highland Club, of which Falkland is President,  on the subject of the Heraldry of Clans and Clan Societies.

The slides for the Clan Societies were kindly provided by former Ross Herald, Charles Burnett, and proved fairly conclusively that the theory that a Clan Society is always suggested by some sort of ring is not really borne out by the facts, although many of them certainly are.

and one I missed so I will need to check the date, Clan Thompson Society.
