Capital Ululations

Last weekend was another heraldic feast in Edinburgh with the Inaugural Dinner on Saturday of the Association of Burgesses, founded at the inspiration of Dr Gordon Wyllie WS, to unite Trade and Merchants burgesses for social and charitable purposes. Lyon has granted arms to the Burgesses Association.

Then Sunday saw the now annual Riding of the Marches. In attendance was our Chairman, Dr Beverly Bergman, wearing the robes of a Burgess of the City of Edinburgh, and holding Oscar the owl, which you may remember, is Beverly's own crest.
