Yesterday's talk by Lyon Clerk inspired me to look up the registration of some of the magnificent banners displayed in St Vincent's Chapel.
They were all recorded by the famous Lt Col. Gayre of Gayre & Nigg in 1967 Volume 50 folio 38 and refer to the Commanderies and Bailiwicks of the Order of St Lazarus.
The first is the Grand Bailiwick of Canada:

The next is the Bailiwick of South Africa:
Next we have the Grand Bailiwick of England:
Then the Bailiwick of Ireland:
And finally the Grand Bailiwick of Scotland:
