From the College of arms archives

For those of you who do not follow Twitter, here is a wonderful tweet from Peter O'Donoghue, York Herald, which appeared today.

From a manuscript in the College of Arms archives: painter's work book recording work in 1685 for a London funeral, and a painting on silk of the Royal Arms of James II to be a covering for a present that His Majesty is to send to the King of Bantam [i.e. Sultan of Banten, Java].
