Birmingham Heraldry Project

I had the great pleasure of giving the toast to "Happy Heraldry" last week at the Birmingham Heraldry Project Dinner in St Paul's Club Birmingham, and the next day giving a crazy talk on "Fantastic Heraldic Beast of Scotland and Italy from Nessie to Biscione".  This was the fifth of such enjoyable events arranged by the indefatigable  Adrian de Redman, incredibly celebrating his 40th year as Birmingham's City Armorist.

The theme of the event was chosen in honour of the late Ralph Brocklebank, a great armorist and sponsor of heraldry ( he met the largest part of the cost of the Glasgow Heraldry Exhibition in 2017) and who was remembered with great affection in particular for his Dragonlore.
