Today is the eighth anniversary of my becoming an Officer of Arms in Ordinary - when I was promoted from Linlithgow Pursuivant Extraordinary to Unicorn.
The Leap Day appeared in the Calendar following the revisions Pope Gregory XIII Boncompagni.
